Darkness as Crows - An Extended Metaphor Poem 3/2/15
Darkness is the thing with wings
that spreads it's sides,
as it covers the sky's surface.
It starts to deeply darken the night.
The gloomy dusk is starless above,
leaving no light beyond it.
A bitter breeze blew past,
causing the trees to shiver
in the cold darkness.
And it takes off at exactly dawn;
leaving it's trail of fog behind it.
I commented on Justin, Joseph H, and Omar's blog.

This is a really nice blog. I liked how you said "causing the trees to shiver", that's a nice use of figurative language! Good job!
